Seymour Lake is crystal clear and claimed by many to be “the cleanest lake in the state”. This lake is a very popular with the locals for swimming, boating, fishing and ice fishing. The shallow and sandy shorelines around most of the lake appeal to families with children and pets. The public beach runs along the road for the entire width of the north end of the lake. The parking area is just across the road from the beach making it easy walking when your arms are full of kids and beach gear.
