Echo Lake is a deep, cold pristine lake that is great for swimming or trout fishing. It is close to Lake Seymour but a little more off the beaten path making it tend to be quieter than the other lakes in the area. Don't let this fool you though; Echo Lake is just as clean and enjoyable. If you want the excitement of water skiing or the quietness of kayaking and watching the bald eagles that frequent the area you can get it all at Echo Lake. Also don't forget to go for a bike ride or walk around the approximately 5 miles of dirt roads that circle the lake.
